70-Mile Route Update

We’ve been out testing the full 70 and wanted to share a heads up. Portions of FR245 do have some sandy stretches.

The good news: it’s been successfully ridden on 45mm tires.

The real news: be ready for a little “beach party” along the way

And yeah… 70-mile riders get to enjoy it twice!

There's 9 days left to register!

Route Updates + Throwback Routes

We’ve been out riding and dialing in the Superior Vistas Gravel Race routes and we’ve made a few key updates to improve the experience for everyone.

Originally mapped over the winter, some sections turned out to be a little too adventurous… think deep sand better suited for fat bikes 😅. So we’ve rerouted portions of both courses to keep things rideable, fun, and flowing.

✅ 40-Mile Route: ~12 miles of pavement
✅ 70-Mile Route: ~18 miles of pavement

Both routes still deliver the views and challenge you expect, now with better surfaces for gravel riders.

Love the original Superior Vistas Bike Tour routes?
We’ve kept those alive too! You can still access the classic maps:
• 13 & 19 mile map
• 34 mile map
• 40, 52, 70, and 100 mile map

Whether you’re racing or riding for the memories, there’s something for everyone.

Remember it's that time of year when you might REALLY WANT TO BIKE on single track, but it's still too wet. Please keep an eye on Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association's page for further updates about spring trail conditions.

Protect Our Trails for Spring Riding
This is a friendly reminder that the mountain bike trails are currently closed due to wet conditions. To help preserve the quality of our trails and prevent long-term damage, we kindly ask all riders to refrain from using them until they have fully dried out. Your cooperation will ensure the trails remain in excellent shape and are safe and enjoyable for everyone when they reopen this spring. Thank you for your understanding and support!
