Trail Work Day on Saturday!

Join us for an Ashwabay Trail Work Day! Meet up at Ashwabay Whiting Road Trailhead on Saturday, August 22nd at 9:30 am and work until noon, or however long you can contribute! Bring gloves, water, a flat shovel and small hand pruners if you have them.  We will have some tools available. Our work will include taking care of any sandtraps and face slappers that have been annoying you! Mike Weispfenning will be leading the group.  Cookies and lemonade to follow!

Calling all cyclists and MTB enthusiasts! Join us in the Ashland 4th of July Parade to help celebrate bikes and raise awareness about our Chequamegon Bay Composite team and the Washburn Bike Park. We are also looking for 3 more people to help walk with banners...send us a PM or comment below if you can be there. We meet at Bay City Cycles at 9am on Saturday, Juy 4 to decorate bikes ahead of line up.

We'll be closed on Saturday for the 4th of July. Don't forget to watch us in Ashland's 4th of July Parade, where we'll be joined by the Chequamegon Bay Composite team!

Everyone is invited! Residents, property owners, trail users, bicyclists, businesses, and visitors are invited to participate in a joint public meeting on June 25th for the Bayfield County Bike & Pedestrian Plan and the Bayfield Peninsula Trails Plan.
The event will begin at 5:00 pm with an informal open house, followed by an interactive input session at 5:30 p.m.

What will be discussed?

-Input on walking, biking, and trails
-Identify safety concerns
-Recreation opportunities
-Connecting Communities
-Priority projects
