It's almost time for one of our favorite First Steps traditions! 🧡

First Steps Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities is excited to invite you to our annual **Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treat!** 🍬🎃

We know that traditional Halloween activities can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we believe EVERYONE deserves the opportunity to enjoy a little Halloween magic! ✨

Join us for an afternoon of treats, costumes, music, photo opportunities, and community fun in an inclusive, welcoming environment where you can come exactly as you are! Costumes are encouraged but absolutely not required! 💜

Sammy’s Place is looking to expand our community connections and representation in Clatsop County and is currently seeking a part-time Community Facilitator.

We’re hoping to find someone who knows the area, understands or has experience with the I/DD community, and genuinely enjoys building relationships and connecting people with local resources and opportunities.

If you know someone who would be a great fit and would love the opportunity to work directly with the Clatsop County community, please share this post with them!

Lived experience is highly valued, and we’re looking for someone who is dependable, approachable, resourceful, and passionate about making community connections.

Hey y'all!

Songs on the Spectrum is hosting its second event, an open mic and karaoke night without judgment or pressure of performance. All are welcome to share poetry, spoken word, comedy, voice impersonations, music, movement and you're welcome to be creative and think outside of the box! Art supplies will be available for creative endeavors! Drop in and join us if you would like! 4-8 pm, Sunday 9/27. Athena Mediterranean kitchen. Astoria.

Adult Support Group Update!!!!!

Unfortunately, tonight’s Neurodivergent Adult Support Group is cancelled due to illness affecting staff at our partner location.

Out of an abundance of caution for our participants and community, we feel cancelling tonight’s group is the best choice.

We apologize for the last-minute change and appreciate everyone’s understanding. Your safety and health is our utmost priority 💜 We look forward to seeing you at our next group!
