The topics are out for the 2026/27 Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy competitions. Like last year, there is one topic for both contests: "What A Veteran Has Taught Me About America". Remember that Patriot's Pen is open to students in 6th through 8th grades while the Voice of Democracy is for 9th through 12th grade. If you have an eligible student in your family, let them know now so they can begin thinking of how best to communicate their ideas on this topic. We'll start getting word out along with the applicable QR codes for entry purposes in July or August.

Today Post 9835 members visited the Fauquier Free Clinic to present the Post's annual donation of $500.00. These folks perform a great service to members of the community including veterans and members of their families and we are happy to support them.
