Nearly 4 million students lack access to music programs in schools—missing out on the creativity and confidence the arts inspire. We believe arts education is a right, not a privilege.

The Quadrant Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization registered in New Jersey. It was established this year to support the incredible work of the Arts Ed Data Project (AEDP) and advocate for the critical role of arts education in students' lives.

The AEDP hosts data on arts education access and participation with the ability to manage and present the information for the nearly 50 million students in almost 100,000 public schools in the United States. The Arts Education Data Project builds capacity within participating state education departments to collect and report arts education data from State Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) annually. Data from state education departments are ingested into a secure proprietary data warehouse with web-based data dashboards and associated data visualization tools. This project supports the first-of-its-kind, timely school-level multi-year arts education data accessible to the public. The program works with states nationwide, including more than 120 state and national organizations.

The Quadrant Foundation also promotes the educational and lifelong benefits of students enrolled in dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts. We accomplish this by collaborating with like-minded national, state, and local organizations and disseminating research and information that may be used to make the case for the inclusion of these programs in scholastic settings.
