A Fresh Start Project Free Monthly Cleaning

Life gets overwhelming sometimes. Homes become cluttered. Situations become difficult. And many people feel embarrassed to ask for help.
That’s exactly why A Fresh Start Project exists.

A judgment free program created to help individuals and families reclaim their homes and start fresh again.
Each month, one individual or family will be selected to receive a completely FREE home cleaning.

This program is especially meant for people experiencing things like:
• Hoarding or extreme clutter
• Health struggles or disability
• Seniors needing extra support
• Families going through crisis or hardship
• Anyone overwhelmed and needing a fresh start

You can nominate yourself or someone else who truly needs help.
The first selected home will be announced April 1st.

⚠️ Right now cleanings are completed personally by me, and supplies are funded out of my own pocket while I work toward official nonprofit status. Because of this, I can only take a limited number of homes each month, but my goal is to grow and help more families.

While I’m still healing and recovering from surgery, I’ve been working behind the scenes to continue building A Fresh Start Project. My goal is to begin helping our first nominated client at the beginning of April. 💚

The Fresh Start Project is a community outreach initiative focused on helping individuals and families affected by hoarding disorder reclaim safe, healthy living spaces with compassion and zero judgment!

If you or someone you know may be struggling with hoarding or severe clutter, you can help by:
• Liking and following the page
• Filling out the anonymous nomination application
• Sharing this post so we can reach people who may need help

Nominations can be submitted for yourself or someone you care about. Everything is handled with privacy, dignity, and understanding!

📣 Seeking Community Partners – Warren Resource Fair!

I’m currently looking for nonprofits, programs, projects, and local organizations that offer services or support for low-income families, seniors, veterans, and caregivers to be part of an upcoming community Resource Fair in Warren, Ohio.

This event will be FREE for organizations and the community. We're focused on connecting residents with helpful resources, support services, and opportunities all in one place.

I have received an overwhelming amount of nominations already! 💙
Because of that, I will NOT be shutting down the nomination application. I want to make sure everyone has a fair chance to be considered!

I won’t be able to officially start the cleaning process until April, but between now and then, I’m working hard to gather more resources and volunteers. My hope is to grow this enough to provide more than one cleaning per month and help as many families as possible!

I hope everyone knows how deeply I appreciate every share, every nomination, every kind word, and every bit of support! This community is truly amazing. 🫶

I can't wait to see how how this community can grow, we’re just getting started!

A Fresh Start Project is Looking for Community Partners 🤝

I’m currently looking to connect with case managers, food pantries, clothing pantries, and local support programs to build strong referral partnerships within our community.

My goal is to make sure the families nominated for free cleanings have access to the resources they need to truly get back on their feet. I would love to have trusted programs I can refer families to, and in return, I’d be grateful if you would refer families in need of a fresh start cleaning to me as well.

💚 Fresh Start Project – Nominate a Family in Need 💚

Do you know a family who could truly benefit from a fresh start? I’m now accepting nominations for a FREE cleaning, with the first family being selected in April!

This is a completely judgment free program created to help people during difficult seasons of life. Along with the cleaning, I can also connect families with helpful local resources to support them as they get back on their feet.

At this time, I will not be able to complete any free cleanings until April. Please do not fill out an application if your situation is time-sensitive, as I wouldn’t be able to help right away.

Starting in April, I will be selecting a application and completing their free cleaning! You’re still welcome to submit an application in the meantime if you’d like to be considered once services begin!
