Andersonville National Historic Site has decided to keep the Avenue of Flags up for the remainder of the year to honor the 250th Anniversary of America 🇺🇸

Please take the opportunity to visit the grounds. The Avenue of Flags is a beautiful site!

A special morning 🇺🇸

We dedicated a Chair of Honor at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Heritage has been a huge supporter of our Mission and flys the POW/MIA flag daily.

We can’t thank them enough for giving more honor to our service members and making sure they are NEVER forgotten!

We are so grateful for the opportunity today to bring awareness for our POWs, MIAs, and Veterans at the Houston County GOP Fish Fry!

Currently there are over 1,250 service members from Georgia who remain Missing in Action.

We don’t know them all, but we owe them all. Until They ALL Come Home! 🦅🇺🇸

Please join us, Rolling Thunder GA-3, on our ride honoring Georgia’s MIA Veterans.

All are welcome bikes, slingshots, trucks, cars and Jeeps. See flyer for more details.

Also this year’s proceeds will once again go towards a POW/MIA granite memorial that we will have placed at the new Warner Robins Vietnam Memorial Park, as the completion date of the park has been extended.

A bittersweet day 🇺🇸

This morning we had the honor of giving our brother, United States Army and Navy Veteran, Board Member Alan LaBranche’s last ride and lay him to rest.

To his wife, family and friends again we thank you for this honor and for your service. Alan will never be forgotten!

Thank you to Patriot Guard Ride Captain Bill Haffner and members as well as American Legion Riders, and Jody Scott of Burpee-Scott Funeral Home, for helping us and being with us to honor our brother.

Also we want to give a big shout of appreciation to Houston County Sheriff's Office-GA for giving us an amazing safe es**rt to the Macon County line. And to Macon County Sheriff’s Office and Montezuma Police Department for es**rting us to Andersonville National Historic Site.

Last but not least thank you to the staff of Andersonville for taking such great care and attention to our brother’s service.

It is with our heavy hearts to inform that our brother, Board Member, United States Army and Navy Veteran, Alan Labranche has passed.

Please be in prayer for his wife, family, friends and our chapter.

Alan served six years in the Army and seven years in the Navy. He joined our chapter in December of 2021 and had the biggest heart and passion for our Mission and fellow Veterans.

We will miss you our brother, and you will never be forgotten!
