After 11 UNFORGETTABLE years, it is with a heavy but grateful heart that I share some very important news: Starting this year, I will no longer host the Very Merry Christmas Charity Party.

What has began as a small gathering with a few friends and a goal to sponsor 10 kids has grown into something FAR beyond what I ever imagined. Last year we welcomed 360 attendees and sponsored over 300 children. Over the years, together, we have supported more than 1,100 children through the Rainbow House Children's Resource Center, and provided vital supplies to the Humane Society of Houston County.

This wasn't just a party, though we had an amazing time each year. It was a movement of love, generosity, and community. Each seat filled, each commitment given, each donation given, each gift wrapped-it mattered. And it made Christmas brighter for countless children and even to myself, and gave comfort to animals in need.

I want to deeply thank each of you-our incredible supporters, sponsors, donors, volunteers, friends, and the dedicated staff of Rainbow House and Humane Society-for the years of encouragement and compassion. YOU made 11 years possible!!

Unfortunately, due to some recent health challenges and the growing demands of organizing such a large-scale event, I've made the very difficult decision to step back. While this was not an easy choice, I know it's the right one for my well-being.

That said - this mission doesn't have to end here. If someone or group feels called to continue the tradition, I'd be honored to pass the baton and support the transition in any way I can. I encourage you to still contact both The Rainbow House and The Humane Society to help them each year, as they still need a Christmas.

The Very Merry Christmas Charity Party has been the GREATEST joy of my life. Thank you for 11 magical, meaningful years. You've made a difference that can't be measured - and I will carry the memories, laughter (and even shots, lol) and love with me always.

Thank you for all your support in 2024, and I look forward to a new goal in 2025! I will be forming a committee this year, as this event has gotten even larger and need more help! If you are interested in joining the committee, please send me a message. We will start planning February 1st.!

Also, I will be looking for someone that is interested in taking this over eventually in a few years or less. I would love to groom them for a couple of years to one day carry on this mission as their own. You never know where life takes you, and I want to make sure this mission continues at the level it’s currently at or even better. Please let me know if you are interested!

Thank you to all that gave for the 11th Annual Very Merry Christmas Charity! A total of 308 Rainbow House kids in our county will have a Christmas this year! More presents were coming after we unloaded the massive 26ft UHaul today and more coming in this week! We thank you!

If you did not drop off your gifts this weekend, we will be unloading jammed packed UHaul of all the gifts that were brought in so far at The Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center today at 1:00. Please bring in your gifts between 1-2:00.

Please remember to follow through with your committment in sponsoring for your assigned Rainbow House kid. When you don’t follow through, they don’t have a sponsor which makes me have to run around last minute to shop for them. Please follow through.

If anyone would like to help me setup the venue and decorate this Friday at the VFW from 12 pm- 8pm, it would be greatly appreciated! We will also have in-take stations for people dropping off their donations and go through the check off process. You can come anytime between those times to help!
