On Wednesday, September 16th, Wyam Youth Center will be hosting a poetry and conversation with Joy Harjo.

Joy Harjo is an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Additionally, she is a celebrated American author, musician, and artist. She holds the distinction of being the first Native American to serve as the U.S. Poet Laureate, a role she held from 2019-2022.
