🐾 Big day on the Grand Ronde Reservation!

We were honored to partner with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal Health Department to bring free spay/neuter services to the community — and together we helped 61 animals in a single day! 🎉

Events like these make a real difference — for pets, for families, and for the whole community. A huge thank you to the Tribal Health Department and the Grand Ronde Fire Department for making this collaboration possible, and to every pet owner who brought their animals in. You’re helping build a healthier, happier community one pet at a time. 🐶🐱

One year ago First Nations Veterinary visited The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. Together, with the tribal heath and fire departments, we put a plan in motion to hold a high volume spay/neuter clinic for this community. Since then, we’ve worked out the logistics, raised the money, signed 100 pets up (with 88 on the waitlist), coordinated 30 volunteers from five states, and filled up both gas tanks on the rig. We’re ready to put the peddle to the metal this weekend & do what we do for this community. Wish us luck!

So sweepy after surgery! This weekend on the Umatilla reservation we did 135 surgeries + vaccinations (donated by Greater Good Charities & Boehringer Ingelheim), microchips (donated by Petstablished) and provided a years’ worth of flea & tick medication to each family. Thank you for showing’ up Umatilla! Together we knocked it out of the park!

Little did Kratos know when he woke up today—he’d make history.

This sweet boy from the Umatilla Nation became First Nations Veterinary’s 1,000th spay/neuter in Oregon Indian Country since our launch in 2023.

1,000 pets. 1,000 lives changed. Fix ‘em, Tag ‘em, Love ‘em! That’s what we preach, and that’s what this community is doing!

Thank you to the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation community for trusting us with your animals. And to Kendyl Dejong for her steadfast support & advocacy!

Huge gratitude to 15/10 Foundation and our angel donor for believing in this work from day one. And to ChangeX Amazon Oregon Fund 2026 for pitching in on this one.❤️🐾

This weekend, First Nations Veterinary is headed to the Umatilla Reservation for another free high-volume spay/neuter clinic! 🐾

We’re proud to partner with the community to provide free spay/neuter services, helping pets live healthier lives while reducing overpopulation and creating safer, stronger communities for tomorrow.

Every surgery means fewer unwanted litters, healthier pets, and more resources for families who love them.

Fix. Tag. Love. ❤️

That’s our motto—and this weekend, we’re bringing it to life.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, supporters (including our angel donor), who make this work possible. Together, we’re making a difference one pet at a time.

🎉 800 SURGERIES AND COUNTING! 🐾

Last weekend at our Warm Springs spay/neuter clinic, we hit a milestone 4 years in the making — 800 surgeries in the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon! We performed 117 procedures in a single weekend, and we couldn't be more proud of this community.

Meet Pip Squeak 🐱 — the sweet soul who holds the honor of being our 800th surgery. So gorgeous! He was ready for the fame.

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers and the generous support of:
✨ Fences For Fido
✨ 15/10 Foundation
✨ LB Charitable Foundation
✨ Our beloved Angel Donor

Here's to the next 800. 💙

Thanks to for the for the exquisite photography. Find her here: MPG

What an incredible Day 1 in Warm Springs! 🐾❤️

We hit a new record today — spay/neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and providing flea & tick medication for 67 animals. We don’t normally do feral cats but when Fences For Fido reached out about a colony that needed help, we stretched our skills to include 26 feral cats. 🙌 Here they are loading up to go back to their caretaker — healthier and ultimately happier!

Shout out to the crew! Truly could not do it without you!

Thanks to 15/10 Foundation, LB Charitable Foundation and Fences for Fido!
