United Way of Greater New Bedford is proud to support Turning Point, a social service agency that helps individuals and families facing life challenges, including those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Turning Point provides housing assistance, help with heat and utility bills, emergency food and clothing, baby items, employment resources, financial literacy support, and referrals, giving neighbors the tools they need to regain stability and thrive.

Because of your support, programs like this are helping families overcome challenges and build brighter futures every day. 💙

SNAP recipients can receive free fruits and vegetables through the Healthy Incentives Program. Pickups are held on the first Friday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. Dates include Jan. 9, and Feb. 6.

Big community weekend coming up with the Wareham Police Department, Wareham Department of Natural Resources, Walmart Supercenter Wareham - Tobey Rd, Wareham Fire Department, Wareham Transportation Department and Wareham Village Associationlage helping with toy drives and spreading cheer for everyone in our community, especially those in need. Special thanks to Social Harmony Lodge, A.F. & A.M. for housing all the elves! If you are able, please stop and support one or of these events!
