Hello all members of Street Men’s Shed.We have some good news. We are planning to re-open the Shed to Members from Tuesday 4th of August. At the present time, and over the next two weeks, your committee is carrying out a deep cleaning of the Shed and assessing what tools, machines, and equipment we need, so that we can free up some space to allow for better social distancing.

There will, of course, be restrictions on how many members can attend at each session.

REDUCED ATTENDANCE: We will restrict the numbers of Members
at each session to 6 + one first aider, which may be reviewed at a later date, if and when circumstances permit.
To allow as many members as possible to attend,we will be opening 3 days per week with 2 sessions per day.

Hi all Members and Followers of Street Men’s Shed. Due to the CoronaVirus epidemic and the Governments advisories in this regard, I regret to inform you that Street Men’s Shed is closed from today until further notice. After the recent advisory, which covered the age 70 plus, it was deemed necessary as many of our members are over 70, and some with underlying health problems. Also of course, the advisory regarding reducing direct contact also came into play. The decision to close was a unanimous decision of the management committee in order to protect our members. We pray that the fight against this Virus will be won sooner rather than later and that we will not have to be closed for too long.We will keep in touch with our members and keep them informed of any changes. In the meantime, let everyone pull together to beat it and strictly follow the health experts advice, and let everyone remember the less fortunate in our society and not be Greedy. Take great care of yourselves and others.

Kind Regards: Steve Wilson. Signing off.
