The United Walnut Taxpayers (UWT) was organized by residents of Walnut who deeply care about preserving our quality of life and fostering a harmonious community. We volunteer our services, skills and passion to advance the goals and objectives of the organization. We came from a single idea started by one passion-filled resident of Timberline. We were looking for a way to protect Timberline from h
armful decisions being made without our input. We would have never envisioned the growth and influence of what has become United Walnut Taxpayers. Formed in 2016, United Walnut Taxpayers is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We have a former President who is now a member of the board of education of the Walnut Valley Unified School District. We have had a significant impact on school bond issues and protecting Walnut’s quality of life. Our membership consists of members with impressive backgrounds in business, academia, medicine, law, engineering, social sciences, insurance, information technology, government, planning and development

We are the most diverse non-profit organization in Walnut. Our membership represents multiple ethnicities and cultures. It is also reflected in our top-level positions of leadership.
