Our Story

After attending a presentation regarding long term recovery, it became evident to me that there was a need for structured, supportive sober living for women in the Walla Walla Valley. This was the spark that lit the fire behind Hope Street. When I started sharing my vision in the community, I quickly met other women with the same passion for recovery. We had a team and a mission but no house. Things fell into place shortly after, when we were offered a house to use. The location of the home was perfect for access to recovery services. Since that day, we have been off and running - setting up and becoming an established business, creating policy, planning for house renovations, sharing our story with the community and more. We hope to begin renovating by May/June 2019 and finish by summer’s end. This would allow us to begin accepting residents in Fall of 2019.
