Maggie Monday Update from her Mom
Maggie Monday 💜
Maggie was discharged midday last Wednesday after having a fever Tuesday. The rest of the week was spent playing at home, going to therapy, getting a snow cone with daddy, swimming with family, enjoying a sweet friends birthday, and playing at home. Maggie’s energy levels were up after the transfusions which is always nice to see. She wears out quickly and is very emotional.
Maggie didn’t have chemo today since she’s on a Vincristine break. We will go to Atlanta Wednesday night this week for a few appointments on Thursday. As of right now, her scans (which were scheduled for Friday) have been delayed due to her hospital stay last week. This is frustrating since we have been waiting anxiously for her next scans to see how things are progressing.
Please continue to pray for Maggie’s healing. She’s mighty and always finds a way to smile through all she’s dealing with. Maggie’s strength and ability to handle cancer treatments as a 3 year old is beyond impressive. Maggie begins round 11 of 14 Monday. She’s doing well with treatments overall and we pray she continues to tolerate the rest of her treatments. Thank you for your continued prayers for Maggie 💛🎗️
Please continue to donate blood and platelets if you’re able. Maggie has needed transfusion for nearly every round. We appreciate all of you who are able to donate! We will continue to collect tabs to donate as well. Message me if you need me to collect any tabs. Thank you! 😊
