Order of the Eastern Star The degrees of the Order of the Eastern Star teach lessons of fidelity, constancy, loyalty, faith and love.

The Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic-related fraternity of women and men dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness. Although not a part of the Masonic fraternity, membership is based on a Masonic affiliation or relationship, a belief in God, and a desire to acquire additional knowledge and for self improvement. These degrees are presented in a beautiful ritualistic ceremony designed to

not only teach the lessons, but also to provide insight for future study and understanding. Local Eastern Star Chapters select their own charities and places of service in their own communities. Some statewide projects include scholarships for ministerial students, other general scholarships for youth, and supporting a home for aged members. Each year special charities are selected for that year's emphasis and might include volunteer programs in elementary schools or volunteers in literacy programs and specific community outreach. Eastern Star proudly support young women's organizations such as Rainbow for Girls and Job's Daughters. Many Chapters actively support DeMolay for Boys. The Eastern Star is also a social organization with frequent formal events and ceremonies. Being a member is a wonderful and a fulfilling way of life. What a wonderful day at the State District Association Meeting! ⭐️

Medina Chapter was so happy to be part of such a fantastic event, and WOW, what a crowd! It was wonderful seeing so many Eastern Star friends gathered together for a day filled with friendship, fellowship, laughter, and fun.

We especially loved celebrating our Associate Grand Matron, Amy Young, and our Associate Grand Patron, Dennis Evans. We are so excited for their year in the East and all that lies ahead for them! ❤️⭐️💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to put together such a wonderful event, and thank you to everyone who came out to support Amy and Dennis and helped make the day so special.

The food was wonderful, the fellowship was even better, and we truly enjoyed the opportunity to learn a little more about one another. There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and lots of fun throughout the evening.

The day was filled with great fellowship as we spent time catching up with our Eastern Star family, and enjoying one another’s company while browsing the many wonderful silent auction items.

Medina Chapter No. 266 gathered for our Annual Past Matrons and Past Patrons Dinner, along with our Service Awards Night. It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, friendship, and celebrating the dedication of our members.

A special congratulations to Sister Cheryl Ritcher on receiving her 50-Year Membership Pin and to Brother Lloyd Egbert on receiving his 45-Year Membership Pin. Their years of faithful service, commitment, and devotion to the Order are truly inspiring.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Star & Garden Party fundraiser honoring Amy Young, Associate Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of Ohio OES. The event was filled with laughter, friendship, and the spirit of Eastern Star as members and guests came together to celebrate Amy.

From the beautiful garden-themed decorations to the delicious refreshments and warm fellowship, everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make this special event such a success.
