We 💚 seeing friends in our community supporting 4-H youth programs! Kudos to R.D. Offutt Farms!👏👏👏

We had a great time serving fries to fair-goers this year at the Hubbard and Wadena County Fairs! Fries for 4-H is an annual tradition we eagerly anticipate; all of our time and supplies are donated and all proceeds support local 4-H programs in the communities we live and farm. This program is a fantastic partnership between R.D. Offutt Farms, RDO-Lamb Weston and each county program.

Exciting news: In 2024, we raised $5,500 for Hubbard County 4-H and $7,000 for the Wadena County 4-H🎉🍟Even more exciting news ... the Offutt Family Foundation is generously giving each 4-H program an additional $5,000, meaning the total amount raised was more than $20k for 4-H programming!

Members of the Wadena American Legion donated $500 to the Friends of the Wadena County Youth group's mission to remodel the 4-H building located on the Wadena county fairgrounds.

Leaf River Ag Service took part in the CoBank’s Sharing Success program. Leaf River Ag made a $1000.00 donation to Friends of Wadena County Youth (4-H building @ fairgrounds) with CoBank matching that amount. With this partnership Leaf River Ag Service and CoBank donate to our local communities to make a positive impact. A big boost to the 4-H building renovation! AgCountry Financial donated $5,000 to the Friends of Wadena County Youth today. What a fantastic night for our first fundraiser for the 4-H building renovation project! We served over 400 people and raised nearly $10,000. Thanks to all who attended and bid on silent auction items. We also want to thank our silent auction donors -- what a wonderful selection of items to bid on!

We received three large donations this week. Thank you to the following:
$2,500 - Wadena Rotary Club
$2,500 - Staples Lions Club
$500 - Wadena BBQ Smokehouse (Owner Tyler Ehrmantraut showed up to support the 4-H building renovation Wednesday night with a $500 donation.)

We are beyond grateful for the support from our communities. Let's keep the mojo going! Every donation, big or small, gets us closer to reaching our goal!
