Our mission is to provide financial relief and compassionate support to families grieving the loss of a loved one to su***de by helping cover funeral and memorial expenses, ensuring every life is honored with dignity and care. Cory’s Legacy was founded by Tracy Hardin, Cory’s loving mother, whose unexpected passing by su***de on August 27, 2024, forever changed the lives of his family and friends.
Thanks to a life insurance policy that was set to expire just one month later, our family was able to honor Cory’s life with the dignity he deserved. But many families aren’t as fortunate. Most life insurance policies for children end at age 25, leaving families not only to cope with unimaginable loss, but also with the unexpected financial burden of a funeral. From this painful experience, Cory’s Legacy was born—with the mission of helping families who have lost a loved one to su***de by easing the financial strain of funeral and memorial costs. Our goal is to ensure that every life is honored with compassion and care, regardless of a family’s financial situation. We are also deeply committed to raising awareness about the lasting impact of su***de and offering hope to those who may be struggling. By sharing Cory’s story and the love he brought to the world, we hope to bring light to others and extend a message of encouragement, healing, and connection.
