EOAC Waco: Changing Lives

EOAC Waco: Changing Lives Non-Profit Community Action Agency

The Economic Opportunities Advancement Corporation is a private non-profit organization, chartered by the State of Texas on April 25, 1966. The purpose for which the agency was created is to implement and carry out the provisions of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. This act recognizes that the United States can achieve its economic and social potential as a nation only if every individual has

the opportunity to contribute to the full elimination of poverty in McLennan, Bosque, Freestone, Limestone, Hill, Falls, Johnson, Ellis, and Navarro Counties. This is done by opening to everyone the opportunity to work, live in decency and dignity; and to strengthen, supplement and coordinate other efforts in the 9 counties.

Happy Father’s Day from EOAC.

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, caregivers, and mentor figures who help guide, support, and encourage the children and families in our community.

Your presence, love, and leadership make a lasting impact that reaches far beyond today.

At EOAC, we are grateful for all the dads and father figures who show up each day to build brighter futures for the next generation.

Wishing you a joyful and meaningful Father’s Day.

Even in warmer months, air leaks let cool air escape and hot air creep in.

Sealing gaps helps your AC work more efficiently and keeps your home comfortable all summer long.

Imagination is where so much learning begins. When children engage in pretend play, they explore new ideas, practice language, and make sense of the world around them in creative ways.

At Head Start, we know that playing “house,” “store,” or even acting out everyday moments helps children build communication skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. These playful experiences are more than fun, they are an important part of early learning and development.

💬 What does your child love to pretend? We’d love to hear the imaginative worlds they create!

Smaller appliances like microwaves and air fryers use less energy than a full-size oven and they don’t heat up your kitchen as much.

It’s a simple swap that can make your home more comfortable and energy-efficient.
