Waco Warriors 14u went into the weekend short handed and it didn’t get much better health wise throughout the weekend. The boys still scratched and clawed throughout the weekend to make it to the championship game. Because of those injuries coaches had to ask some players to fill in to spots they’ve never played before and they competed all weekend admirably. Our starting pitcher for the championship game, sprained his ankle before the semifinals but was able to keep the Warriors close against a strong Takeover team. Second tournament in the books for the spring with two championship appearances. When we get everyone healthy and all our players on the field, look out baseball world. Spring break can’t get here quick enough to let the healing begin!!

Opening tournament for 14U Warriors saw them battle into the Championship game after winning their first 2 games of the day. We ran out of gas in the game against a very good team from DFW and came up short. Eli L scorched the ball all weekend long and paced the team at the plate and was rewarded for his efforts with the tournament MVP!! Congrats kid. On to next weekend!!
