The collection is now complete. It took a trip to the Czech Republic to acquire a trading card of Adam Klapka, but the gaps have closed. Undoubtedly, new Czech players will debut in the 2024-25 season, but for now, the search has ended.

Attempting to collect trading cards of every Czech NHL player posed several difficulties. Three players: Miroslav Dvorak, Milan Chalupa, and Frantisek Cernik, never appeared on an U.S. or Canadian issued card. However, the trio was part of the 1979 Panini sticker set which contained 400 images of international hockey stars. Below are Dvorak, Chalupa, and Cernik from this set.

One of my favorite pieces of Czech hockey memorabilia is posted below. The black-and-white photo is part of a more than 2,000-piece collection issued by an Italian company from 1977 to 1979. Labeled Sportcaster, subscribers received 24 cards per month at a cost $1.89.
