Vonore Blessings Box

Hey guys.... Just a quick note! Someone ran into to Blessings Box at Toqua over the weekend and tore it up pretty bad. It was full so I pulled the food out of it and took it down to the box at the library and loaded the box up and took it home with me to make some necessary repairs. I will get it set back up as soon as possible. I know the need is great and want to say "Thank You" to everyone that lends a hand to take care of the boxes.

I was asked to share this NEW BLESSINGS BOX.... It is located on Walnut Grove Rd at Walnut Grove Church.... God is truly using this ministry.... I want to thank each and every one of you for ALL you do to make this possible in our community.

Hey Vonore guys I have 3 or 4 large bags of men’s clothing to give a way to someone that can use it. The size ranges are small, medium and large. I know how hard it is to get all new school clothes and would like these to go to someone that can USE them. PM if your interested.

Please help spread the word about the Vonore Blessings Boxes. We currently have 2 boxes ( #1 is located next to Vonore City Hall / Library and #2 is located in front of Toqua Community Center on Hwy 360). They are both in constant need of straightening up and donations. The goal is to help as many people as possible. These boxes are not affiliated with a specific church or organization in hopes that the different churches in the area will support the cause. They are here for the benefit of our community. If you or your church would like to sponsor a box for a week don't hesitate to reach out. If anyone wants to donate and doesn't know what to get or needs help shopping for the box don't hesitate to reach out. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated!

HOT ITEMS for the Blessings Box at Toqua Community Center.... Potted Meat, Vienna Sausage, Canned Chicken & Tuna, Ravioli & Beanie Weenies. These things were depleted overnight. Thank you to the ones who added things to the box today!

The second Vonore a Blessings Box is officially place and initially stocked. I will be working on a more permanent sign to go on the front as well as putting a plexiglass window in the door so it is easier to see inside. This box is located in front of Toqua Community Center on Hwy 360 across from Toqua Campground. I want to thank TK-Lynne Sloan (Sloan’s of Vonore) for their generous donation to have the box built. Feel free to take what you need and leave what you can....
