Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting a Navy sister who is starting an amazing business, Compass and Code Collective LLC.

You have heard of AirBnBs but she has started, what I call, RVnB. Luxury RV rentals that are driven to your location of choice (up to 200 miles), dropped off and set up for your arrival. You do no work! It's done for you.

She currently has 6 RVs. Three were on display yesterday and I can attest that what you see in the photos is what you get. BEAUTIFUL!

If you are looking for a different type of getaway or want to experience the RV life without having to purchase one, this is it!

Some wounds cannot be seen, but they are still real.
Some battles do not end when the uniform comes off.
Some smiles hide memories, triggers, sleepless nights, anxiety, silence, and pain that words cannot always explain.

This month, Hampton Roads Sapphire Veterans honors every veteran who is healing from the invisible wounds of trauma. We see you. We believe you. We stand with you.

PTSD is not weakness.
PTSD is not failure.
PTSD is not something to be ashamed of.

It is a response to what you survived.

And healing does not mean forgetting. Healing means learning how to breathe again, trust again, rest again, live again, and take your power back one day at a time.

To our sisters and brothers in arms: you do not have to carry it alone. Asking for help is not surrender. It is a strength. It is courage. It is choosing life, peace, and wholeness.

Hampton Roads Sapphire Veterans remains committed to creating safe spaces where veterans can be heard, supported, encouraged, and reminded that healing is possible.

VA created Homeless Veteran Community Employment Services (HVCES) to improve employment outcomes for Veterans who have experienced homelessness.

Today, We Remember. Today, We Honor. Today, We Give Thanks. 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day, Hampton Roads Sapphire Veterans pauses with grateful hearts to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice was not small. Their courage was not ordinary. Their commitment was not forgotten.

Because of them, we live with freedoms that came at a cost. Because of them, families, communities, and generations continue to stand on the foundation of bravery, duty, and selfless service.

Today is more than a day off. It is a sacred reminder to speak their names, honor their legacy, support the families they left behind, and live in a way that reflects gratitude for the price they paid.

To every fallen hero: we remember you.

To every Gold Star family: we stand with you.

To every veteran carrying the memory of someone who never made it home: we honor your grief, your service, and your strength.
