Hampton Roads Sapphire Veterans invites all women veterans to join us for the Sapphire Revival / Vision Board Party, a time of healing, connection, reflection, and restoration.

In the middle of life’s pressures, responsibilities, and the stressors of today’s world, it is so important that we make space for our mental health, our peace, and our purpose. Did you know that the VA offers Women's Health Transition Training (WHTT) as part of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), which includes training, information and
services to help Service members and their families shift to civilian life .

WHTT consists of five modules to promote a better understanding of how VA can support women Veterans’ health care needs post-separation from the military:

For many veterans, retirement brings freedom, but it can also bring silence, confusion, depression, loss of purpose, and the question: “What now?”

For years, we had structure. It didn’t make us weak. It made us strong. And we still need it after we transition out of uniform.

Having a routine is not restriction; it’s restoration.
Here’s an example of a purpose-driven daily routine designed for veterans after retirement:

🕕 0600 – Wake Up With Intention
• Make your bed (discipline still matters)
• Prayer, meditation, or gratitude check
• Set ONE intention for the day

🕖 0700 – Physical Readiness
• Walk, stretch, yoga, or gym time
• Move your body. Honor the vessel that carried you through service

🕗 0830 – Fuel Up
• Nutritious breakfast
• Hydration check (yes, water counts as self-care)

🕘 0900 – Purpose Work
• Job, business, volunteering, studying, or creative work
• Serve in a new way. Your experience still matters

🕛 1200 – Reset
• Lunch
• Step outside, breathe, ground yourself

🕐 1300 – Home Order
• Light cleaning, organizing, or projects
• A clean space helps quiet a busy mind

🕒 1500 – Mental Fitness
• Read, journal, therapy, coaching, or personal development
• Healing is a strength, not a weakness

🕕 1800 – Connection
• Family time, sisterhood, support groups, or community
• You were never meant to do life alone

🕗 2000 – Wind Down
• Limit screens
• Reflection: What did I do well today?
• Prepare for tomorrow

We don’t need to “figure it out alone.”
We need community, structure, and purpose beyond service.

✨ Farewell 2025. Welcome 2026. ✨

As we start to close the chapter on 2025, we pause to honor every Veteran Sister who stood strong through the unseen battles, silent tears, and courageous victories that never made the highlight reel.

This year asked a lot from many of us. Losses, stresses, challenges, sickness, setbacks, and much more.
It tested our strength, stretched our faith, and reminded us that healing is not a one-size-fits-all, but we showed up anyway.

In 2025, we didn’t just survive…
We stood up when we were being held down.
We chose community over being alone.
We proved that sisterhood, family, and friends can save lives.

As we welcome 2026, we step forward lighter, wiser, and more intentional. We release the weight of what no longer serves us: guilt, burnout, self-doubt, and the pressure to be “strong” all the time. In its place, we carry hope, purpose, peace, and renewed vision.

✨ 2026 is the year of:
• Continued healing
• Deeper connection
• Bold purpose
• And unapologetic self-worth

To every woman veteran who questioned her purpose, battled her mental health, or wondered if she still mattered, you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

We will continue to stand with you, support you, and uplift you, because no sister should walk alone.
