A little surprise visit during class!
Today we met , Polar Bear. Who’s part of the vb ems therapy dog program. Pet cuddles on a hard shift, is always a bonus for all. Sometimes we just need a sweet cuddle.

This past June, we had the pleasure of meeting the Nightengale flight crew, at Sentara princess Ann hospital. We watched them land, and learned valuable information.

25years ago families kissed goodbye for work, boarder planes for a designation.
25 years ago, the world paused and watched. 25 years ago America became one and stood behind first responders.
We will remember, we will not forget, we will stand strong.

Our returning teens may know this instructor. For our new teens, we hope you get to meet him soon.
Sam, he’s been with us for roughly 3yrs, let’s all give him a congratulations shout out, as he got brought on now a city A-EMT.

When our EMS are off the clocks those skills could still be put to use, anytime or any where.
Two of our instructors had this happen recently. One instructor, while driving on the highway out of state, became the first responder of an accident till local responders got on scene. And our main instructor, recently while on a 10hour flight for work travel, was asked by flight attendant, to assist in a passenger in need.

Our skills taught are extremely beneficial, whether for knowledge in general, or to continue on in education. Let’s give a huge shout out to all ems who assist both on the clock and off.

2026-27 class orientation was this past Sunday. Seats are filled, teens eager to learn, and instructors eager to teach.
