A guardian's perspective of Mission 10

I had the honor of being Dave’s Guardian riding on the Gold Bus out of Richmond. From the time of our 1st contact call we became wonderful friends. We both live in the Williamsburg area and speak to each other at least twice a week.

Dave constantly talks about the wonderful time he had. He was truly moved by the love, recognition, appreciation, and respect that was given to all the veterans everywhere we went. His favorite was Quantico where the sidewalk was lined with cheering people, young and old waving flags. He was also impressed with the museum there and wants to go back.

Dave's favorite pic was of him and General Patton at the WWII memorial.

Thank you so much for allowing me the honor and privilege of being a Guardian for the ODHF.
