The Virginia Conference of the Global Methodist Church launched a new podcast: Awake & Arise, from Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus - “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14). I’m thrilled to be a part of it.

In the 1st episode, “Why God?” Greg West and Brandon Nichols engage in an expansive conversation about the case for belief in God. Topics range from apologetics and philosophy to the relationship between science and faith. We explore why God is the best answer to the deepest questions of life and the only hope for ultimate meaning, significance, and purpose.

I was blessed to be with Pastor Paulo DaSilva and the brothers and sisters in Christ at Fairfax GMC a few weeks ago for worship and fellowship! I preached from Matthew 13, Jesus' Parable of the Sower.

How is it with your soil!? The seeds of the Gospel come to us and we get to cooperate with God and fellow disciples in making sure we have good soil in which the Gospel can take root and flourish!

If you're in NoVA and looking to connect with Christ and community, I highly recommend https://fairfaxgmc.org

Children’s outreach in Soweto!

The Global Methodist Church is doing a great work in this area. All week long there’s been activities, teaching, games and food for the children in this neighborhood. The love of Jesus is being seen and experienced!

“Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”
