This beautiful picture makes my heart sing. It exemplifies sending off your child/grandchild on their college journey. The joy, hope and pride you have for them is enormous and special. I look back at my own college journey and remember my grandmother’s happiness when I started college. Her handwritten encouraging letters and phone calls that lifted my spirits, just when I needed positivity. Let’s continue to spread joy to students and their families, as they begin their own unique college journeys.

The most significant change benefits the 90% of taxpayers who take the standard deduction. Starting in 2026, you’ll receive an above-the-line tax deduction for cash donations up to $1,000 for singles and $2,000 for married couples, even if you don’t itemize deductions.

This provision perfectly complements monthly giving. Just $85 per month($1,020 annually) maximizes your tax benefit while providing steady support that keeps Dorm Fairies programs successful. For married couples, $170 monthly reaches the full $2,040 ceiling.
