KASA Ministries would like to thank First United Presbyterian Church in Virden, Illinois for their Legacy Donation. We are grateful and honored that you donated to the "Bolster The Belltowers" Capital Campaign Fund and chose KASA Ministries to continue the legacy of serving the local community and lifting the name of Jesus for the next generation. With the purchase of the building this year KASA Ministries is building upon a foundation that was laid 175 years ago and will be a place of hope and love for the next 175 years the Lord's will be done.

Thank you again to the board and special recognition to Tammy Kime Ireland, Sue Kime, Bill and Marsha Woodruff and Sara Woodruff Gwinn for all their efforts during this process.

"Bolster The Belltowers". We have chosen a platform that is specifically designed for 501c3 not for profit ministries. What we love about this platform is the protection and safety in giving and you can choose whatever amount you want to donate and also can choose to help with the fees that are incurred. Sometimes the journey in this life leads us down unexpected paths.Today is one of those days. KASA Ministries bought a church. Yes, bought a church. We are blessed beyond measure and excited to parter with God's vision to be a place of salvation, healing and hope for the community and surrounding areas. We are going to be updating our progress and future events whenever possible. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Especially our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to whom through all things are possible.

Everyone is wondering how we arrived at the name KASA ministries. We'll simply it is our names in an acronym. When we came up with the idea I dug a little further knowing that people might think it is Spanish "Casa" meaning "house". Remarkably that is so fitting, but as I researched further the Hebrew word KASA means "to cover, conceal, hide or clothe.
Again remarkable. I just happen to stumble on the Japanese meaning for KASA and it means "umbrella". All of these meanings in so many languages are relevant to what we have envisioned for KASA Ministries. 1 Peter 4:8 is our guiding scripture it says, "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Suzanne and I want to say Thank You preemptively for all of the prayers and support we have received from friends, family, and brothers and sisters and the prayers and support we will need in the future so that we can minister to the lost, broken and desperate of humanity so they can know that they are "Covered in Love" by Jesus.
