The Vinton Village Council will convene a special meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for a cybersecurity training session. This meeting will be closed to the public.

The Village of Vinton is accepting sealed bids on the following items: 2012 17-foot Tracker watercraft (boat trailer included) and a 1990 Ford Cutaway E35 van (62,431 miles). Both items were formerly used by the Vinton Fire Department, no warranties expressed or implied.

Interested parties may inspect the items by contacting 740-572-7424 to schedule an appointment.

Sealed bids should be separate for each item and envelopes clearly marked "Sealed bid". Bids will be accepted until Thursday, June 18th at 6:30pm and will be opened that evening. Bids can be mailed to PO Box 8, Vinton, Ohio 45686 or placed in the drop box at 121 Clay Street, Vinton, Ohio. Bids should include name, address, phone number, bid amount and signature.

The village reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidders must make payment within 7 days of acceptance and remove the property within 14 days.

Village Council will meet on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 7:00pm to open bids for the Piper Road culvert replacement project.

The Village of Vinton is seeking sealed bids to install 60 LF of 60" galvanized metal pipe on Piper Road. To receive bid packet, call 740-645-7163 or email [email protected]. Bid packets will be emailed to those interested in bidding. Completed bids will be due by 5:00pm March 27, 2026 and opened that evening. This project must be completed by April 15, 2026. Bids can be mailed to PO Box 8, Vinton, Ohio 45685 or hand delivered to Vinton Town Hall, 121 Clay Street, Vinton, Ohio 45686 and left in the drop box. The Village of Vinton reserves the right to reject any/all bids.

The Village of Vinton will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 4:30pm to pass a resolution to authorize the fiscal officer to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission State Capital Improvement and/or Local Transportation Improvement Program and to execute contracts as required.
