Data center risks and concerns have been a widespread topic nationally, and we asked for your support in securing engineering services to review DataOne’s plans in anticipation of the Special Planning Meetings this August. It was discovered that even outside of the concerns of noise, emissions, power, and water that a black and white design principle fault regarding stormwater was present. We heard firsthand DataOne’s willingness to turn a blind eye to State stormwater guidelines while also never notifying them of their alternative approach.
This is not “complaining”. This is a professionally prepared report detailing DataOne and the City’s responsibility.
