The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County would like to congratulate one of our very own amazing staff members, Ms. Joyce, who serves as a teacher at Indian Avenue School!
Ms. Joyce recently took on a significant role in the production of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, presented at Hope Loft in Bridgeton, NJ by the Off Broad Street Players. She delivered a fantastic performance alongside a talented cast, helping bring this classic mystery to life on stage.

We are so proud to have such dedicated and multi-talented staff serving our youth both in and out of the classroom. Congratulations, Ms. Joyce—what an outstanding accomplishment!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County recently had a table at the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Bridgeton.
It was a great community event, and we want to thank Stephanie Gonzalez for the invitation.

We truly appreciate opportunities like this to connect with local families and share the work we’re doing with our members.

We always look forward to visits from our friends at Good Dog Therapy, who come to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County every other week.
During their time with our youth, they bring a positive message, meaningful conversation, and plenty of smiles. This week, the discussion centered around life goals and “what do you want to be when you grow up?”—encouraging our kids to think big and share their dreams.

We’re grateful for the consistent support and the impact they continue to make in the lives of our members.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County was honored to attend this amazing community event a few weeks ago. We are incredibly grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful organizations, families, and community leaders who continue to support local youth.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County had the opportunity to visit the Cumberland County Courthouse today as Mr. Bridges’ Broad Street School class presented their Mock Trials at Bridgeton Court.

Judge Lopez presided as the prosecution and defense teams presented their cases before a jury.
After the jury delivered its verdict, Judge Lopez provided thoughtful feedback to the students, and it was clear that everyone came well prepared for the trial.

The students also had the honor of hearing from Judge Todd, who took the time to explain why each role in the courtroom is so important. She spoke about authenticating documents, the body language of witnesses, and the true meaning of justice.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible. We had a great time and learned so much from this incredible opportunity!
