On June 6, 1944, the U.S. and other Allied forces launched the D-Day attack—the largest amphibious invasion in history—storming the beaches of Normandy and turning the tide of World War II.
We remember the thousands who gave their lives that day, 82 years later, and we honor all who served in World War II—on the front lines and on the home front—whose courage secured the freedoms we know today.

Cape May County is proud to give back to those who gave so much.

Veterans are invited to attend Wills for Warriors on June 4 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Ocean City American Legion Morvay-Miley-Cruice Post 524, located at 4562 West Avenue in Ocean City.

Through this special program, veterans can meet with a volunteer attorney to have a Will, Power of Attorney, and Healthcare Directive prepared free of charge.

Appointments are required. Veterans may call the Cape May County Surrogate’s Office at 609-463-6666 and ask for Hannah to schedule.

Thank you to Surrogate Judge E. Marie Hayes, the Surrogate’s Office, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Cape May County Bar Association, and the Citizen/Veterans Advisory Committee for helping bring this meaningful service to Cape May County’s veteran community.
