Adopter update: I wanted to give you an update on Percy! We adopted him at the event you had at the Meadows shipping center. My sister-in-law adopted his brother. They are both going great. Percy is such a smart puppy and is eager to learn. Thank you ❤️

Headed to the veterinarian office

Fly High Peeper. We knew that your time with us would probably be short. Thank you to anyone that donated to help her have her best end of life. She was amazing yesterday. I was putting her to bed and she decided she was still hungry. So, I sat up with her while she ate more. Eating wet food like crazy... but they say that there is a great day right before they pass with a hospice patient. JP PetCare Dr S***k is the kindest, most caring human. She was always checking in to see how she was doing. I couldn't ask for a better friend and Veterinarian. This is so a depressing day.

Adopter update(adoption day and now): Hi!

I wanted to give an update on Maggie formally known as Mimi. We got her 9 years ago today. She turned 10 on August 7th. She got a big birthday party and presents. She’s been absolutely the best!!!She did have a little bit of a rough summer. She did lose her best friend, my other dog had a stroke and passed away, but it took some time, but she is back to herself and is loving all of the attention. We all love her very much even my nieces. They are obsessed with her. She is doing awesome!!!🐶💜🐶🩵

I did want to let you know that last month she went in for some routine bloodwork and she was diagnosed with kidney disease. She wasn’t showing any symptoms and she still is not showing any symptoms. The vet said that she’s at the end of stage 2. We immediately started medication and she has started a kidney diet which she seems to be doing great with. She will get her blood work checked next month and I will let you know how she is doing.

We spent a couple of hours on a home visit with Shyanne. She did better than expected. We are so happy that they are going to give her the chance!!

UPDATE: Volunteers (Tom and Melyssa Greer) went out and looked for the dogs, but was unable to locate them. Keep in mind that we are caring for a LOT of dogs. We don't have big donors nor do we have a big place.

Come on Vigo County. Can anyone save these dogs? Mom and 4 pups chasing someone's truck on w Kennett & Robertson road.
