Parkersburg, WV — Camp Kootaga Foundation President James Bennon is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Burk as the Director of Camp Kootaga Foundation. As Director, Christopher will will serve as an important ambassador for both Camp Kootaga and the Camp Kootaga Foundation. He will work closely with the Executive Board, volunteers, community organizations, youth-serving organizations, businesses, schools, and other partners to expand Camp Kootaga's programs, strengthen community relationships, event coordination, volunteer engagement, communications and outreach, camp development and stewardship, fundraising and grant support and promote the camp as a vibrant and welcoming community resource.
“I’m excited and honored to have this opportunity,” commented Christopher. “While Camp Kootaga has evolved over the years, its spirit remains unchanged. Obtaining the camp was just the first step. The Foundation now has the opportunity to enhance the camp’s natural beauty and make it the perfect setting for family reunions, weddings, and other gatherings while still promoting traditional outdoor activities for youth and adults alike.”
Join us in celebrating Christopher and his commitment to our community, the Foundation and Camp Kootaga.
