Hey y’all! 👋

I’m starting to get things rolling for the Brace For Impact Parent Expo 2026! Since I’m not local anymore, I’ll need a little help putting everything together. Right now, I’m looking for volunteers to join the planning team in roles like:

✨ Venue coordination
✨ Sponsor contact/communications
✨ Event promotion + spreading the word

I won’t dive into official planning until October, but I’d love to start building the team now. If you’re interested, drop a comment here or send me a message (Cheyenne Cashion)!

This is wonderful news!

Governor Greg Abbott announced that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission is awarding $239 million in construction grants to expand and improve access to inpatient mental health care in rural Texas.

The grants will help rural communities treat and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric illnesses without the need to travel to a major city.
