We are thrilled to welcome one of our new board members, Becki Compson! Here is a little about Becki Compson: Becki Compson is a passionate advocate for empowering women and girls, a commitment that is woven throughout both her professional career and personal life. She joined the Girls on the Run Greater Rochester Board of Directors in 2026, bringing with her a deep belief in the organization's unique ability to positively impact girls at a critical stage of their development.
Becki's connection to Girls on the Run is both personal and heartfelt. Her daughters have participated in multiple seasons of the program since 2022, and she has had the privilege of watching each of them grow — building confidence, forming meaningful friendships, and developing a lasting sense of pride in themselves.
Professionally, Becki serves as Chief of Staff at Emerge, where she leads organizational initiatives, product development, and the company's branding and engagement strategy. Prior to joining Emerge, she spent 13 years at Constellation Brands, where she spearheaded global HR programs in talent management, learning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Villanova University and a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She also completed executive development programs through Harvard and the University of North Carolina.
Within her community, Becki has served as a leadership mentor for Dress for Success, supporting women on their path to economic independence, and is a Volunteer Advocate with Planned Parenthood WCNY. She actively participates in initiatives that promote reproductive care and freedom.
Becki is based in Pittsford, NY with her husband and two daughters.
