At the Little Italy Endicott Farmer's Market! Look at all the tabling, products, music and tons of people. A wonderful summer day/evening to stop by, shop, be informed on many orgs, music and register to vote! If you've moved, you can change your address. If you want to change your party affiliation, you can do that as well. Should have mail ballot and absentee ballot application forms there too.

On July 26, 1775, the Continental Congress established what would become the United States Postal Service, creating a network that has carried letters, ideas, and history across generations.

For decades, postage stamps have also served as miniature tributes to the people who shaped our nation. Women honored on U.S. stamps include suffragists, civil rights leaders, jurists, aviators, scientists, public servants, and changemakers whose stories continue to inspire.

Every letter sent has the potential to carry not just a message, but a reminder of the women whose contributions helped define America.

Starting this month, WSKG News will be posting audio recordings of the monthly Broome County Legislature meetings.

It’s part of the newsroom’s mission to help you understand what’s happening in local government.

Binghamton area reporter Celia Clarke spoke with News Director Phoebe Taylor-Vuolo about the idea.

You can find the conversation, as well as the first audio recording of a Broome County legislature meeting at WSKG.org.
