At the National Muzzle Loading R***e Association, we’re proud to bring people together around muzzleloading sports, traditional skills, and living history. Since 1933, our community has helped preserve these traditions through competitions, educational programs, hunting, reenactments, outreach, and gatherings at the Walter Cline Range and beyond. Whether you come for the history, the craftsmanship, the competition, or simply the people, there’s always something new to discover with the NMLRA.

Jim Kibler has been creating flintlock longri**es since 1990. He is known for combining a great deal of care and precision with a refined sense of design and style to create highly collectible flintlock fi****ms. His ri**es are not only visually appealing, but also fully functional and highly accurate fi****ms. Jim’s focus has been 18th century American longri**es as well as more elaborate English and Continental pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries.

In every project, he goes to tremendous lengths to make sure every detail has been meticulously planned and executed.

As we get close to this years Kibler Fest here is a little tidbit about the Kibler Long Riles

Kibler's designs historically correct longri**es and builds them with modern machining, in our shop in Kensington, Ohio. We do the precise, repeatable work so you can do the rewarding part: assembling and finishing your own r***e at your own bench. You assemble and finish the kit at your own bench. The barrel is inlet, the lock is fitted, the hard parts are handled, so what is left is the satisfying work: shaping, sanding, staining, and making the r***e your own. People build one as a first project, and people build their tenth. One customer has built one of our kits for each of his grandchildren.

Those finished ri**es, and the people who build them, are what this is really about.

We hope to see you all at this years Kibler Fest!
