The Kiwanis Club of Vernon has been busy the past couple of weekends! We would like to thank the Vernon Street Machine and Classic association for allowing to to be a part of the Summer’s Last Blast Events! It started with the poker run! We had a booth and we were set up at the library ! We gave out water and snacks and our very own Garrett Orton helped deal the cards! We all had a blast and enjoyed visiting with everyone who came thru! Then today we had a water tent and a mister tent set up at the Show and Shine at Orbison Park! We enjoy being a part of community events ! We are always looking for new members and volunteers ! Our primary focus is the children of our Wilbarger County but we help in other areas in our community as well! If interested please contact any of our members for information! We would love to have you! Here are a few pictures of our weekend!
