On Wednesday night at the Venus High School Senior Awards Ceremony, the Kiwanis Club of Venus Texas was proud to award our annual scholarship to Clarissa Ramirez.

Each year, this scholarship recognizes an outstanding Key Club senior who has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to serving their school and community. Over the past several years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Clarissa at many community events, and we’ve been continually impressed by her dedication, initiative, and care for those around her.

We are excited to see all she accomplishes in the future. Congratulations, Clarissa!

Happy New Year from the Kiwanis Club of Venus!

As we welcome the new year, we wish everyone a happy, safe, and purpose-filled year ahead. Our focus remains unchanged—supporting the children of our community and making a meaningful difference where it matters most.

Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and community members who help make this work possible. We’re excited to continue giving back, showing up, and investing in our kids in the year ahead.

What a fun-packed and fulfilling day for our community and our Kiwanis members!

The day kicked off bright and early with the Key Club serving up a pancake breakfast - such a great way to start the morning.

Next, the Kiwanis Club teamed up with Venus Mobile Food Pantry, Venus ISD employees, and members of the Key Club to serve at the food bank, working together to support those in need.

We wrapped up the day with lots of smiles and holiday magic at our Letters to Santa booth during Holiday on the Square.

A huge thank you to the City of Venus, Texas for putting on such a wonderful event. It was truly heartwarming to see our community come together, celebrate the season, and enjoy a great day together.

🎄🎅 Calling all kids! 🎅🎄

Santa is getting ready for Christmas, and he wants to hear from YOU!

We’re currently at the City of Venus, Texas Holiday on the Square, and kids can stop by to write a letter to Santa and tell him all about their Christmas wishes—what toys they’re hoping for, how good they’ve been, and anything else he should know before Christmas Eve!

We’ve got the paper, envelopes, and plenty of holiday cheer. All you have to bring is your imagination!

This is going to be such a fun event! The Kiwanis Club will be hosting a Letters to Santa booth, so be sure to bring the kids by — it’s the perfect chance for them to share their Christmas wishes and make a little holiday magic.

The Kiwanis Club of Venus had a great morning at the food pantry today! We loved working side-by-side with so many generous people and community partners who show up month after month to make a difference.

Serving our neighbors is what it’s all about, and we’re grateful to be part of such a caring community.
