One of the most valuable resources inside VCBW isn't an event.

It's the community conversation happening every day.

Many of you may remember when our community chats lived directly inside the Facebook group. There was a lot of connection, collaboration, referrals, questions, support, and conversations happening there.

When Facebook transitioned community chats into Messenger, we essentially had to start over from scratch.

Today, we've rebuilt that space and now have more than 145 women connected through our VCBW Community Chats.

These chats are designed to make it easier to find support, share opportunities, and connect with other women in real time.

Inside you'll find dedicated spaces for:

- Ecosystem Member conversations
• Questions and support requests
• Sharing services and offers
• Community events and announcements
• Collaboration opportunities
• Referrals and connections

It's often the quickest way to ask a question, find a recommendation, share an opportunity, or let the community know what you're working on.

If you've been looking for a more active way to engage with VCBW between events, this is one of the best places to start.

Are you already inside the Community Chats? If so, tell us your favorite part of the conversations happening there.

What if the way we've been taught to do business is part of the problem?

Join us for June's Ask the Experts panel:

The Invisible Collapse: What’s Breaking in Business Right Now and What Women Are Being Called to Build Instead

Across industries, many women are feeling it.

The pressure to constantly produce.

The expectation to do more.

The burnout.

The noise.

The disconnect between what looks successful and what actually feels sustainable.

This month's conversation explores some of the biggest shifts happening in entrepreneurship, leadership, visibility, and personal capacity.

Together, we'll discuss:

- Why hustle-based business models are breaking down
- The leadership identities many women are outgrowing
- The reality of nervous system capacity and burnout
- What is changing in marketing, visibility, and trust
- What women are being called to build instead

Joining Tawney Noriega are guest experts JJ Flizanes and Raini Steffen, bringing perspectives from business strategy, emotional healing, leadership, life transitions, visibility, and personal transformation.

This is not a presentation.

It's a conversation.

Bring your questions, your experiences, and your curiosity.

Because many of us are navigating the same shifts, and sometimes the most valuable thing we can hear is that we're not alone.

Help Shape the Future of VCBW

As Ventura County Business Women continues to grow, one thing remains incredibly important to us: listening.

Every July, VCBW takes a Summer Break from hosting our core events. While community members continue connecting, collaborating, and supporting one another, our leadership team shifts its focus toward reflection, evaluation, and improvement.

This year, we're inviting you to be part of that process.

Our Community Audit is now open, and we'd love your feedback.

The audit takes about five minutes to complete and includes simple questions designed to help us better understand:

- What's working well within the community

• What resources and support you need most right now

• Which events and experiences create the most value for you

• What you'd like to see added, improved, or expanded

• How we can better support women in business throughout Ventura County

The truth is, many of the programs, resources, events, and opportunities inside VCBW have been shaped directly by community feedback.

Your voice matters.

Your experiences matter.

Your ideas help us create a stronger, more impactful community for everyone.

Over the Summer Break, we'll review the feedback, identify patterns, and begin implementing improvements, upgrades, new resources, and new opportunities for the months ahead.

If VCBW has supported you in any way, we'd be grateful if you took a few minutes to share your thoughts.
