Mid-Michigan Renaissance Festival's Enchanted Forest

Mid-Michigan Renaissance Festival's Enchanted Forest The Enchanted Forest is home to the little village of Kleeves, a place where German History and Fairytales come to life, right before your eyes.

Mid Michigan Renaissance Festival opened In October of 2008, by four people of which there is only one left. Two of the partners decided to leave the partnership and the other, my son Vincent passed away in 2011 at the age of 29. I made a promise to him to make the Festival the best I could. I most certainly am not doing this on my own. I have many people who have helped me to make Vince

nt's Festival better with each passing year. Vincent told me to use his money to better the festival and I did that by having electricity put into the festival grounds. I know he would be pleased that I did that because he always disliked the noise and maintenance of the generators. MMRF is set in 1500 Germany and is also part fantasy festival. We are very family friendly festival and love to have children at the festival. Our cast includes The Duke of Kleves, The Dukes Mother, and his three sisters, The Queen of Bohemia, Martin Luther, Snott the Troll, fairies, and other townspeople. A complete list is posted on out website www.midmichiganrenfest.com. This year we will be open the last three weekends of June 11 am to 7 pm.
