Hello Human Trafficking Task Force of Clark County!

We are writing to share several training, funding, and speaking opportunities available to this community. While this is a longer message, it is filled with valuable information. We are also pleased to introduce our March speakers:

Adam Rominger has been working with youth of SW Washington for over 27 years. He is the President of the Board Q***r Youth Resource Center (QYRC). He also volunteers his time at Triple Point on most Tuesdays, a program that supports q***r youth 11 to 18 as well as being a counselor at Camp Starlight a camp that supports youth that identify as LGBTQIA+ or their family and those affected by HIV/AIDS.

McKenna Sims grew up in the Vancouver area and has been part of the Q***r Youth Resource Center board since late 2024. As part of QYRC, she runs the organization's social media accounts and website, among other things. They are passionate about supporting q***r youth and ensuring all folks have access to affirming spaces and resources needed to live as their authentic selves.

Adam and McKenna, of QYRC ,will be sharing information about their organization, what services they provide and where to find them. They'll also give a brief overview of LGBTQ+ identities, pronouns, and how to build more inclusive environments.

March 25, 2026 0830-1000.

THE DAILY SHOW CAUSED AN UNPRECEDENTED STORM AFTER 30 YEARS ON AIR: 8 OF THE SHOW’S MOST POWERFUL HOSTS IGNITED A WAR WITH PAM BONDI RIGHT IN THE FIRST EPISODE OF 2026 UNDER THE THEME “READ THE BOOK — COWARD.”

There was no laughter, no familiar satire. National television that night turned into a “live courtroom” when Jon Stewart stood up, slammed a heavy stack of files onto the desk, his eyes locking the entire studio in place. Eight hosts rose simultaneously behind him — silent, like reading an indictment. One message was repeated, cold and sharp: if you have never opened that book, do not pretend you have the courage to speak about the truth.

In 20 unscripted minutes, names were read, questions were thrown like blades. No avoidance. No metaphors. Social media exploded, hashtags shot to the top. The Daily Show chose confrontation — and forced America to choose a side. This was no longer entertainment. This was a public challenge to power.
