National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) was honored to be invited to our donor and friend, Rob Andrews' Surprisr 60th Birthday Party at his ranch. Rob is owner of Bigfoot Estate Sales in Clark County, WA and he and his wife have been supporters of for years.

The party also include a great backyard BBQ dance band called Rockit Radio check them out. 🎶

- in February 2020, National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) was awarded a Washington Statewide Fund grant for $10,000 by the Cowlitz Indian Tribe. Then only two wks later, the state was shutdown for the pandemic.

NWCAVE was able to stretch that grant out so our vital services could continue during COVID and we were able to still be help those who needed us.

Back on June 12th, we celebrated our anniversary, made possible by donors like and we thank them for being a part of our journey 🌎💜🌎💜

In honor of our office will be closed Friday, June 19th. We encourage you to join us at the Odyssey World International Education Services Juneteeth Celebration on Saturday in Vancouver, WA.

What is Juneteenth? Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when enslaved Texans learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. The celebration began in Texas and spread nationwide, becoming a federal holiday in 2021.
