A little about the program and what we are trying to achieve...

We have noticed that girls' sports tend to take a back seat to boys, especially in basketball. We want the girls to be able to take ownership and pride in their sport. We have created this academy for the girls. Something focused on skill building, performance/strength training, team building and personal growth. We will be having pr

actice, day camps, attending special events (Seattle Storm WNBA game with possible meet and greet with a player), holding team bonding activities, competing in tournaments and participating in a fall league. Coach Billy will be training and be head coach for the academy. We are in the process of establishing the academy as a 501c nonprofit organization so that we can utilize grant funds to acquire our own gym, transportation and help offset the costs of running the academy. Our goal is to also make this affordable for ALL. We will have an active Board of Directors and will be bringing in mentors and special instructors to help strengthen the academy.
