Walks 10&11: combined 10.14 walked with 44.38 miles left to 100. I had a minor procedure done last week and for once I’m being a good patient and listening to the Dr. I’m not supposed to do anything too strenuous for pretty much for a month (which is killing me), so I haven’t been posting much. Hopefully at the end of next week when I go to my post op I’ll get the green light to be more active.🤞Not sure how much longer I can be compliant.😈

9th walk: walked 6.27 miles with 54.52 miles to 100 walked for the month. Eagle update, can’t tell but pretty sure baby/its have arrived. I need to remember to bring my binoculars to get a clearer look. Managed to keep pretty much dry on this walk despite sporadic rain.

Hope everyone had a happy Easter, it was a super warm day, perfect for a walk. Mitzie and I enjoyed all the cool signs and smells of spring. Checked on the eagles, didn’t see or hear any signs of eaglet/s. Found what I thought might be some sort of mini bus or something similar, hard to tell. All in all a great day!

Our first walk down for April, 3.09 miles walked. Our goal is 100 miles walked for April. Scrappy did good, he walked almost half of the route before slowing down and eventually carried but he did finish the walk on his own four legs.👏

Last ride of the month and cycle 300 miles for the ACS challenge. Rode 45.77 miles for a total of 450.87 ridden for the month, just made Deanna’s challenge of riding 450 miles!😓. Not only did I reach 450 miles, I also completed my new route from my place out to my nieces. This is my hardest route so far, several long and punchy climbs but I climbed all of them without stopping. I could’ve done without the wind, it was particularly gnarly today.
