UPDATE ON THE STUFFED ANIMAL DRIVE –

YOU DID THIS!!! ❤️

Because of you — through the donation boxes at Solid Muscle Gym, MPC Plant Chevron - my incredible coworkers, Community Connections, and generous Amazon purchases — 268 brand-new stuffed animals have been donated for children who will be spending Christmas in our local hospitals.

That’s 268 hugs.
268 smiles.
268 moments of comfort in a place that can feel scary.
268 reminders that they are loved, even by strangers.

A special thank you to Samantha Dees for leading this effort at Solid Muscle Gym, and to Keith Williams for leading the effort at MPC Plant Chevron. Your hearts, leadership, and willingness to step up made a real and lasting difference. We couldn’t have done this without you!

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this mission. We will proudly deliver these gifts on Christmas morning in Etta Mae’s honor - carrying love, comfort, and hope to children who need it most.

My heart is so full today. We picked up the Christmas donations for our sponsored family, and I am truly humbled by the love our community has shown. To everyone who has donated, prayed, shared, or reached out—your compassion is already making Christmas magical for this family.

This was our first mission through Butterfly Kisses from Etta Mae, and it will not be our last. Today reminded me that small acts of kindness can ripple farther than we ever realize. You’ve given hope. You’ve given joy. You’ve given a family a reason to smile this season. 🎄✨

I’m also wearing pink today in honor of another precious angel, Harper Ryals, on her one-year angelversary. Although we never had the chance to meet her, her story found its way to our hearts, and her life continues to inspire love and compassion. 💗👼

Thank you all for helping us honor our sweet angel, Etta Mae, by helping others. Thank you for lifting up a family who needed us. Thank you for believing in what we’re building with Butterfly Kisses from Etta Mae. Thank you to Mystic Krewe of Pine Island for co-sponsoring this family with us, especially Vicki, you are amazing! This year, we're making homemade pies in honor of Julietta “Etta Mae” Monet Gautreaux. Through Butterfly Kisses From Etta Mae, we help families with medically complex children and carry her beautiful light forward.

✨ These pies will be fully prepared and ready for your Christmas meals — right from the fridge to your table, all you have to do is pick them up or meet in town!
To make sure everyone gets theirs in time, we're taking prepaid pre-orders now till Dec 21st, so they are fresh and ready by Christmas week.

Boxes are located at Gammy’s Cafe and Cuttin’ Up Hair Salon. We have people willing to meet you if you aren’t in Vancleave or if you work during the store hours.

If you are a black friday shopper, please consider picking up a Christmas gift or two for the local family we are sponsoring with the Mystic Krewe of Pine Island. Drop off locations are at Grammy’s Cafe and Cuttin’ Up Hair Salon, both in Vancleave. These donations will be collected on December 12th.

We are also collecting new stuffed animals to deliver to children spending Christmas in the hospital - drop off location is in Lucedale at Solid Muscle Gym. We will collect these donations on December 18th.

We have a donation box set up at Solid Muscle Gym (on Commerce) for new stuffed animals to give away to children that will be spending this Christmas in the hospital. Thank you Sam Ervin at Solid Muscle!

We will pick up the donations on 12/18, and we will deliver them on Christmas Day in Etta Mae’s honor. Please consider purchasing a stuffed animal or two while you are out shopping in the next few weeks.

Cuttin’ Up Hair Salon, Vancleave (thank you Stephanie!)
~A couple more drop-off locations may be added soon.

Please consider purchasing an item or two for these children so they have plenty of gifts to open on Christmas morning. Clothing sizes and genders are listed below. Age appropriate toys and stocking stuffers will be greatly appreciated! We have already added stockings for each child in one of the boxes, we just need some little happies to fill them.

We will be publishing our Amazon “wish list” soon - these items will be used to make care packages for medically complex children and their parents that are in lengthy hospital stays in one of our coastal hospitals. If you know of a local child/family that could use a little help, please send us a private message. We received similar packages when Etta Mae was in lengthy hospital stays facing major surgeries and these packages definitely lifted our spirits.

We are also partnering with the Mystic Krewe of Pine Island in Vancleave to sponsor the children of a local family for Christmas. If you are out and about shopping, please consider making a couple extra purchases for this family. They are in need of clothing and age appropriate toys. Gifts can be wrapped or unwrapped, but please donate only new items. The deadline for donations will be December 12th. Dropoff location will be announced shortly.
