🎨🖌️ Exciting news from our partners at , pre-sales are now live for their innovative product, Noshi Food Paint, a naturally colored, better-for-you frosting!

Noshi was created to give kids more control and creativity at mealtimes, helping them feel more engaged and empowered. They also found this approach resonates with autistic children, where sensory experience and predictability can make mealtimes more positive.

This insight deepened their commitment to inclusion, and we’re especially grateful for Noshi’s partnership and support, with a portion of every profits going toward The Uniquely Abled Project. 💙🌈

We are excited to share that Mitsubishi Electric has selected The Uniquely Abled Project as a 2026 grantee. 🎉

With MEAF’s continued support, we will build on our momentum to expand and strengthen the Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) network over the next two years.

This includes expanding CNC training and certification access, strengthening UAA program outcomes, and advancing more inclusive pathways to meaningful careers for uniquely abled individuals.

We are deeply grateful for MEAF’s partnership and shared commitment to advancing inclusive workforce development. ❤️

In recognition of 🌈Autism Acceptance Month, we’re proud to highlight a collaboration between NY Creates and the UAA at Hudson Valley Community College as a meaningful example of opportunity in action.

Recently, students applied their machining skills to a real-world project by designing and producing commemorative bronze coins for NY Creates, gaining valuable hands-on experience while meeting professional production standards.

Partnerships like this help create a more inclusive workforce and open more opportunities for neurodiverse talent. 🤝💙

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Mike Bastine, a valued member of the Uniquely Abled Project community and a dedicated Uniquely Abled Academy Consultant.

Mike was instrumental in the early growth of the Uniquely Abled Project, helping to establish and expand Uniquely Abled Academies that continue to create life-changing opportunities today. Through his leadership at College of the Canyons and beyond, he championed innovative programs, including early robotics initiatives, and helped build pathways that have guided countless individuals into meaningful, well-paying careers. His belief in the mission—and in the potential of every individual—was present in everything he did.

Mike was also a mentor, colleague, and friend to many across the UAP network, generously sharing his knowledge and ensuring programs had the support needed to thrive. His impact lives on through the students, families, and communities whose lives have been transformed by the opportunities he helped create.

As colleague and friend Karen Navarro shared, “Mike’s legacy lives on through every student whose life was changed because he believed in possibility.”

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed. 🤍

Today, and every day, we are reminded that acceptance starts with action. 🌈💪

It’s creating space for individuals whose strengths don’t fit a single mold & giving those strengths the opportunity to shine. ✨
