Last week, cadets and students gathered for Cal Poly Maritime Academy’s first waterfront carnival! 🎡

⚓ Fair Winds Family Weekend is coming to Cal Poly Maritime Academy!

Join us Oct. 9-10 for a special weekend celebrating your student or cadet and the community they call home. 🌊

Connect with fellow Cal Poly families, experience Learn by Doing through faculty and alumni panels, lectures and labs, explore campus on guided tours, and enjoy live music, family-friendly activities and meals throughout the weekend.

🎟️ Current Cal Poly students, cadets and children ages 8 and younger attend at no cost.

Come experience campus through your student’s eyes, celebrate their journey and make new memories together.

⚓ Cal Poly Maritime Academy Move-In is almost here!

Parents and supporters, here are a few important dates and reminders to help your Mustang have a smooth arrival on campus.

📅 New first-year and transfer students
Move-in: Monday, Aug. 17
Students must book their required 15-minute move-in appointment through the Housing Portal on MyCalPoly by 11:59 p.m. Aug. 11.

📦 Continuing students
Move-in: Aug. 22-23
No appointment is needed. Students can check in between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on their move-in days.

🚗 Before you arrive
Be sure to review the Maritime Academy Move-In map and follow directions from traffic control staff when you arrive. Shuttles will be available to help students and families get between parking lots, residence halls and other areas of lower campus.

Please leave RVs, oversized vehicles, U-Hauls and trailers at home, as they cannot safely navigate campus roads, parking structures and drop-off zones.
