The Miracle League of Valdosta The Miracle League of Valdosta is a community-based sports program for children and adults with all types of mental and physical disabilities.

Miracle League is a community-based sports program for children and adults with all types of mental and physical disabilities. The league’s mission is to bring people of various abilities together in order to discover their common ground and find joy in serving others. The Miracle League of Valdosta would like to provide every child and adult of mental or physical handicap the opportunity to play

baseball and other sports. In a partnership with Valdosta-Lowndes Parks & Recreation, our field is in Freedom park. The specialized field will features a cushioned, synthetic, rubberized surface that will eliminate any barriers to wheelchairs, walkers or other mobility devices. The facility also includes a concession stand for snacks, and a barrier-free playground that will be accessible to children of all abilities.

We are so grateful for the impact Leadership Lowndes has on the Miracle League of Valdosta 💙

From alumni serving on our board and on the field, to current board members and class participants actively volunteering—Leadership Lowndes is woven into everything we do. We are honored to have been selected as a partner group in the past and to continue growing alongside such an incredible organization.

A special thank you to the current class members who were able to come out Thursday—we appreciate you showing up, supporting our athletes, and bringing such great energy!

Goooo Blazers 🔥

So thankful for the Valdosta State University Blazers Football team tonight! They traded in their helmets for pom-poms and showed up as the BEST cheerleaders for our athletes.

Their energy, passion, and fun made the night so special 💙❤️
