Good morning y’all from Burnsville. Please stop scrolling and hear me out because we really need your help here!

We aren’t sure why but in last 2 weeks (since Trumps visit) it seems like the support here in WNC has just completely dropped off.

I don’t know if people think oh he is sending all the help they need, but y’all sadly not the case. He is helping but the need for volunteers and donations is huge still!

This River is how most of our waterways still look to this day.

Our volunteer numbers are staggeringly low, they dropped of big time and we still have so much to do. Now we know people have their own lives and stuff to do. However we can’t rebuild without volunteers so if you can come please reach out. I will be posting master list today on my page for volunteer opportunities.

I see other creators posts who used to get tons of attention but now hardly any views or likes. Just don’t get it.

So please help us spread the word Western North Carolina still needs A TON OF HELP!

So glad we were able to start cleanup for this super sweet couple Mike & Willi. 💙⛰️Their story absolutely breaks my heart, they had built this beautiful little piece of paradise by the river. In one day it was all washed away. The Carolina Compassion Network is going to clear the land, grade it, and offer assistance with some temporary housing if they will accept it. Wow yesterday was truly an incredible day and we were able to help sooooo many people, we estimate at least 500!!
💙💙💙💙🤩🤩🤩☀️☀️✝️✝️✝️

God blessed the day I will tell you that and made it possible with so many coming together for the cause.

It’s amazing when groups join up like Carolina Compassion Network and Wilmington Response did for this event what all we can accomplish!

Thanks to the more than 30 volunteers who answered my call to help yesterday!! Too many to tag and name but y’all know who you are!

Thanks to North Toxaway Cooking team, Andy from Boone & his cooking team, and Big Yummys BBQ for donating their food and time to feed hundreds!! We even have leftovers which will be taken to 1st responders today.

Thanks to my Virginia people for coming and hanging out 320 bibles at the event! See when they came to bring campers last month and asked me what was needed. My first answer was bibles! I knew there was a need and God just put it on my heart to ask for them.

I’ve decided my organization will host a giveaway at least once a month and will do them at various areas to provide supplies for multiple areas!

Next one I believe will be in Boone, I will announce this week and post what we need to collect for the giveaway.

Big shout to this amazing volunteer Earl who came all the way from Pennsylvania and stayed at Camp Unity for 2 weeks wto help the people of Western North Carolina! 🇺🇸❤️🙌🏻💙

He was able to fix the pressure pump for Amy & her momma yesterday so they have water!

It’s people like Earl who are helping keep people warm by delivering propane & help them rebuild.

We appreciate you so much Earl and wish you safe travels back home .
